Hey Sugah
Whenever I bake (granted it’s a rarity), I’m amazed by the ingredients. With exorbitant amounts of sugar, butter and cream, how can it not taste good?
In light of how much Andrew and I have on our plates this year, we decided to go low key for Valentines Day. I opted for simple sugar cookies to bake him as his gift. Three days later… I finally got around to finishing. I’m finding it harder and harder to have time for apron activities these days.

Baking Banana Bread
One of my favorite aspects about living in New York is friends coming to visit. I don’t know what it is, but hosting friends really brings the apron out in me. Two days before they arrive, I’m overcome with the need for the apartment to be perfect… I buy fresh flowers, make sure the apartment is sparkling clean, and stock my kitchen. For this last weekend, I decided to bake banana bread. I figured it would be a great thing to have for morning and mid-afternoon snacks.
It was delicious. I probably ate more of it than my guests, but whatever, it was the perfect complement to the weekend.
