Planning a Graduation Cocktail Party…
I’m a little a lotta late on this post. What can I say – with traveling, studying for the bar, and learning to be an apron, I’ve had little time to reflect on my party planning skills.
For graduation, my group of friends and I wanted to plan something to do together with all of our families. We first thought of dinner, but quickly scratched that idea because splitting the bill among 8 families sounded like a nightmare. In lieu of dinner, we decided to have a cocktail party on the roof of my apartment building. H’or d’oeurves, alcohol, decorations, you get the idea.
I volunteered to organize everything, and my original thought was to order platters from a restaurant. But after pricing everything out, it dawned on me. I just started an apron blog. I should make these platters myself. Hmm…Why did I volunteer to do this?
